Merger of the city of Hof, the district of Hof and the municipality of Gattendorf

In November 2002, the city of Hof, the district of Hof and the municipality of Gattendorf joined forces to form the Zweckverband Automobilzulieferer- und Technologiepark HochFranken. In cooperation with the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, the association provides professional support for investors and actively markets the industrial park. The association's leadership consists of the mayor of the city of Hof, Eva Döhla, and the district administrator of the district of Hof, Dr. Oliver Bär. Both take turns at the helm.
